The vocational education and training center
The vocational school Tuwapende Watoto is open to boys and girls who have completed primary school. Foroccupations such as electricians, computer scientists and web designers a complete secondary education iscondition. In exceptional cases, we will also accept apprentices who have worked on this job descriptionalready and want to make up for a lesson. All classes are conducted in English. The vocational school has its own bright and spacious classroom and the class size is limited by design to a maximum of 15 trainees perclass.
Semester
The first semester starts in January and ends in June, the second runs from July to December.

Fees per apprentice in 2021
The fees include: education, meals, the writing and learning utensils and participation in the graduation ceremony. The uniform and transportation are not included in the fees.

Teacher
We employ only qualified, experienced and state-certified vocational teachers. On individual care ofapprentices we attach great importance.
Participation of parents
We encourage parents to participate in the development of their children to actively participate and to attend vocational school in consultation with the teaching staff. Parents meetings are organized by the head teacher.
Catering
At 10:00 am, the apprentices enjoy a freshly prepared snacks.
Curriculum
Basis is the Tanzanian National Curriculum for the respective job description, is which add important elements such as English, IT and sports lessons.
